Crafted of solid mango wood in a rustic whitewash finish, each wood candlestick features a carved pillar shape with engraved floral accents and has an iron grommet embedded in the top to hold a single candle (not included). Cast candlesticks were generally shorter and heavier than the hammered ones. Their size and weight varied considerably during time. From 1700 to 1735 candlestick were about 15-18 cm tall. From 1735 to 1760 they were 19-23 cm tall, to reach 14-28 cm in the late examples (around 1775 - 1780).
